MARERA COMMUNITY SELF-HELP PROJECT -(MCSHP)

HOPE AND MOTIVATION FOR A SHARED FUTURE: EMPOWERING FAMILY AND STRENGTHENING COMMUNITY CARE FOR ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN.

Thank you for logging onto our site today. By doing so, you have shown that you have a heart to reach out and support vulnerable children. Children who may never get the chance to know you or say ‘Thank you’ in person. On their behalf we would like to say ‘Thank you’ in anticipation of your kind and generous support.

Marera Community Self-Help Project (MCSHP) is a Community based and driven Non- Profit Organization. It was born out of a desire of a holistic approach to serve HIV/AIDS Orphans, other vulnerable children and their caregivers in Marera and the greater Community. Marera is a village located 4 miles South of the Equator, near Lake Victoria, in Kisumu District, Nyanza Province, Kenya. MCSHP is a 501(c)(3) Non- Profit Organization registered in California, U.S.A.

MCSHP believes in promoting a strong caregiver-child relationship to ensure vulnerable children are natured and protected in a family environment. The organization further believes that, by sponsoring Healthcare, Education, Agriculture, Water, and Skills Training, we would be helping the helpless, the voiceless and the most poverty-stricken little ones in the World: HIV/AIDS orphans, other vulnerable children and their caregivers. Moreover, MCSHP believes in transparency and accountability. To this end, 99% of every single donation will be used to address the needs of the vulnerable children.

In addition to monetary donations, another way to support our organization is by signing up for web hosting service through our host Lunarpages Affiliate Program.
They are a very reliable web hosting company with affordable and competitive prices. Each new sign-up automatically donates $65 to our organization's cause and we greatly appreciate any help you can offer towards our goal of fighting HIV/AIDS in the marera community.
